VATStat

Context

Acounting firms are responsible for the timely VAT declaration of their respective customers. Those declarations have several milestones: request customers to upload their documents, check if documents are complete, update the account, declare VAT, acquire confirmation from authorities, inform the customer of VAT payable, etc.

Mission

Build tooling that allows the accounting firm to keep track of the progress of VAT declarations by all its accountants.

Solution

VATStat is a multi-tenant application with a database per tenant running in Azure. Every accountant firm is a tenant.

Accountants update their progress, while chief accountants track progress, delegate tasks, manage VAT periods and cutomers in the web portal.
