Filip After more than 15 years on the Microsoft® platform I am still passionate about technology. Above all I am convinced that success in IT is not merely a question of technology. No matter how great the technology you put in place, if the people that use it every day, the operators that maintain it, or the customer that pays for it, are not convinced, your project will not attain its full potential.

Unfortunately many IT projects still fail over bad reasoning. I strive to make a difference in this area. flip.be pays attention to all aspects of the solution: organizational culture, existing habits and processes, architecture and technology. Standard methodologies and frameworks provide useful guidance, but are no substitute for common sense.

Today cloud computing presents new challenges and opportunities. I'm convinced that the impact of the cloud paradigm will be at least as big as the introduction of the Internet in the organization. It forces us to rethink our strategies, the way we manage our data centers and our business applications.

I focus on tools that facilitate IT management, such as the Provisioning IT solution and the Service Desk application, but also provide guidance on integration, migration, and operational maintenance.
